Private chapters deserve plain language.
This early-access notice explains what Iskha currently collects and why. Last updated 12 August 2026.
Information used by Iskha
We use your email address for passwordless access and may store a display name. Chapter content can include ideas, links, dates, lists, conversations, reactions and media you or your collaborators add. Technical records are used to maintain sessions, reliability and account security.
Who can see a chapter
Iskha is for the people you invite — not the whole internet. Chapter content is available only to signed-in members of that chapter. No public profiles, follower counts or advertising feeds. Anyone who receives an active invitation link may use it to request membership, so invite links should be shared carefully. Everyone joins as themselves with their own private access.
Product analytics
Iskha uses privacy-limited PostHog analytics in its European data region to understand whether people can create a chapter, invite someone, add ideas and return later. We do not send emails, chapter names, idea text, conversations, invite codes, links or photo addresses to PostHog. Automatic click tracking and session recording are off, and browser Do Not Track settings are respected.
Planned AI tools
AI tools are not active during early access. If they open with Iskha Plus, they will run only when a person asks for a suggestion, send the minimum text needed, and return a draft for that person to approve. AI will not silently edit a chapter. Iskha will publish the provider, retention details, age safeguards and controls before these tools are enabled.
Service providers
Iskha uses infrastructure and service providers to host the app, store data, deliver sign-in email, understand product usage and process future subscriptions. These may include Vercel, Neon, Resend, PostHog and Stripe. They process information only for providing their services.
Advertising and sale of information
Iskha does not currently sell personal information or operate an advertising feed.
Retention, access and deletion
Information is kept while your account and chapters remain active or as needed for security and legal obligations. You can request access or deletion by following the data deletion process.
